Senior HR Generalist - International Private Bank

Job Description

Our client is an International Private Bank, currently seeking a dedicated Senior HR Specialist to the Human Resources team in Hong Kong. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting their local operations across various HR functions, ensuring seamless employee experiences and alignment with organisational goals

Job Duties:

  • Support HR operations including talent acquisition, employee engagement, onboarding/off-boarding, training, and data management.
  • Collaborate with regional HR teams to ensure consistent practices that comply with global standards and local regulations.
  • Build stakeholder relationships by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in line with company policies.
  • Lead HR initiatives and produce analytical reports as directed by Hong Kong HR leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and safeguard sensitive HR data with professionalism.
  • Promote the bank's culture and values to candidates, acting as a brand ambassador throughout the hiring process.
  • Contribute to employee development by organising training programs and supporting career progression opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related field, with at least 6-10+ years of HR experience, from another Private Bank
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment laws, privacy regulations, and pension schemes.
  • Proficient in English, Cantonese, and preferably Mandarin, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and MS Office
  • Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
