Role: APAC Compliance
Client: Financial Institution
Location: Flexible (within APAC)
This is a key senior compliance position that would provide oversight of the regional compliance team and partner the business in navigating complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on role in leading regional compliance policy development and implementation in line with regulatory obligations
- Horizon scanning of regulatory developments in the APAC region and assessment of impact to the business
- Provide oversight and leadership to the regional compliance team
- Provide advisory to business stakeholders across the region
Requirements:
- Legally qualified with extensive APAC compliance background including North Asia
- Experienced in complex transactions such as Private Equity and Merger & Acquisition
- Conversant in regional regulatory landscape with experience in dealing with regulators across APAC
- Strong communication skills in English and at least one other Asian language would be beneficial in working with regional stakeholders
