Lead coordination and management of corporate action events, including dividends, interest payments, stock splits, rights issues, and other income distributions
Monitor and validate income distribution transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Collaborate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate compliance and seamless execution of corporate actions
Review operational procedures related to corporate actions and income distributions, recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and control
Support activities for monitoring discrepancies or processing issues, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies
Drive initiatives for system enhancements and automation to streamline workflows and improve productivity
Support the implementation of new products and business initiatives related to corporate actions and income distributions, including user acceptance testing and system rollouts
Provide technical and procedural guidance to front office and operations teams on corporate actions and income distribution matters
Develop and maintain comprehensive control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Prepare regular management reports and KPIs to monitor the performance of corporate action and income distribution activities
Lead and mentor team members, nurturing a high-performing, compliant, and collaborative work environment
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
At least 7 years’ relevant experience in the securities industry, including bonds and structured products, with a focus on corporate actions and income distributions
Familiarity with CCASS, DCASS, Euclid, CMU, and other related systems
Deep understanding of securities, bond, structured products settlement, corporate action workflows, and income distribution procedures
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Proven project management capabilities with advanced IT knowledge highly preferred
Proficiency in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua), written and spoken
