Head of Wealth and Personal Banking | Up to 180k

The Head of Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) will lead and oversee the entire Wealth and Personal Banking business in Hong Kong, including Private Banking and Retail Banking segments. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving growth, profitability, and customer-centric innovation across wealth management, retail banking, and digital transformation initiatives. The position requires strong expertise in managing high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

• Welcome existing Head of Retail Banking/ Head of Private Banking/ Head of Sales and Distribution who would like to step up as Head of Wealth and Personal Banking

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute WPB strategy aligned with global priorities; drive revenue growth; champion digital transformation.
• Business Management: Oversee P&L; manage product development; expand market share in HNW/UHNW segments.
• Client & Market Development: Build relationships with clients and regulators; monitor market trends.
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to HKMA/SFC regulations; implement risk frameworks.
• Team Leadership: Lead and develop high-performing teams; foster collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 15+ years in wealth management/private banking/retail banking, with 8+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale banking operations and delivering revenue growth.
• Strong knowledge of wealth products, digital banking trends, and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong.
• Advanced degree in Finance or Business; CFA/MBA preferred.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
