Vice President - Trade Finance Sales

Key Responsibilities:

Drive trade finance business growth by delivering tailored solutions such as Supply Chain Finance, Accounts Receivable Purchase, and Structured Trade Finance.
Support trade-related products including guarantees, letters of credit, invoice financing, LC discounting, and export credit agency (ECA) solutions.
Promote trade finance and supply chain finance offerings in the Hong Kong market as a frontline representative.
Manage trade finance activities for financial institutions within the Hong Kong portfolio.
Coordinate global trade finance opportunities for multinational corporate clients in collaboration with other offices and departments.
Contribute to strategic initiatives such as origination and distribution.
Monitor and manage resources including risk assets, funded assets, and commitments as directed by management.
Engage with credit, compliance, and legal teams to ensure balanced, customer-centric solutions aligned with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial banking and/or trade finance.
Strong knowledge of trade services, operations, and solutions across conventional trade, receivables finance, and supply chain finance.
Solid understanding of credit and operational risk related to trade products.
Awareness of market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
Proven ability to identify and meet client needs through consultative selling.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with the ability to deliver impactful presentations.
