About the Role
The Agency department of AIA Insurance is seeking a skilled and results-driven Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will leverage advanced analytical techniques and machine learning models to drive business decisions, optimize processes, and enhance customer experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply data-driven insights to a range of business problems, contributing directly to the company's digital transformation in the insurance industry.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Data Analysis & Actionable Insights: Apply advanced statistical techniques to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and build predictive models that address business challenges and provide actionable insights to business.
Presentation and data story-telling: Create impactful presentations to effectively communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders and guide strategic decision-making.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics. PhD candidates are welcome to apply.
Technical Skills: - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
Experience: - Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in the insurance sectors.
Personal Attributes - Strong problem-solving skills with a keen analytical mindset.
Self-motivated and curious, always seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
