Company Overview:
Our client is a globally recognized Education Institution with strong track record of success, is seeking a seasoned Finance Director to lead their finance function in Hong Kong. This is a strategic leadership role within a dynamic and mission-driven educational environment.
Responsibility:

  • Lead and oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance across the school’s Hong Kong campus.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support the school’s long-term vision and operational excellence.
  • Ensure robust internal controls and governance frameworks are in place, aligned with international standards and local regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies, and provide strategic insights to the board and executive team.

  • Drive process improvements and digital transformation initiatives within the finance function to enhance efficiency and transparency.

    Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, ideally within the education sector or other mission-driven organizations.
  • Proven track record in strategic financial planning, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong understanding of Hong Kong financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
