Custody Manager, Cash Management

Job Description

R esponsibilities: - Manage and oversee the Custody Operation including FX booking and Cash management etc.

  • Ensure that all services are delivered in considering current legislative and regulatory requirements and complying with the BOCHK's operation risk guidelines.
  • Make evaluation and solution from operation and system perspectives to meet with client requirements.
  • Drive operational changes and system enhancements to meet the changing needs of the business.

  • Participate in UAT tests and other ad-hoc projects as required.

    Requirements: - Bachelor Degree holder or above.

  • 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in Custody, Treasury or Middle Office business.
  • Overall understanding and knowledge about various markets and investment instruments (e.g. equities and fixed incomes etc.) as well as their related operating modes, clearing and settlement procedures, law and regulations, commonly-used SWIFT formats etc.
  • Familiar with different markets and operating requirements etc.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and co-ordination skills to work with the team.
  • Independent in thinking, arrange work and dealing with business partners or service providers; flexible and client focused in rendering client-facing services.
  • Meticulous with details; diligent and efficient in follow-through.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure arisen from workload and time constraints.

  • Sensitive about international market developments and industry initiatives.
