Trading Assistant, Prime Synthetic

Our client, a reputable investment bank, is hiring a Trading Assistant for the Prime Synthetic desk in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities

Assist with trade capture by inputting trades, managing amendments, and processing lifecycle events and allocations.
Serve as the primary contact for trade capture inquiries across trading desks, addressing issues promptly.
Monitor risks to ensure the accuracy of trade entries and compliance with internal standards.
Conduct quantitative analysis to support trading activities and decision-making.
Lead initiatives for process improvement and automation within the team.

Job Requirements

3-5 years of experience in a trade capture, trading assistant, or middle-office role
Strong familiarity with equity markets in the APAC region.
Knowledge of risk management principles and product pricing strategies.
Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to tasks.
Comprehensive understanding of financial products and their practical applications. Experience with synthetic products would be highly preferable.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines
Team-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
