Senior Director - Financial Services, Strategic Consulting

Job Description
Our client is currently going through an exciting period of building and growth of their Consulting advisory business, with a key focus on sell-side and buy-side clients across banking and financial services industries in the region.
Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading client engagements, shaping strategic agendas, and as well as executing deliverables for your clients.
- You will drive business development efforts including proposal creation, client relationship management & thought leadership
- You will be expected to bring deep industry expertise and a strong execution of complex strategic transformation initiatives.
- You will be comfortable navigating different organisational structures, and stakeholders but also very hands-on in working at all levels within the team to ensure efficient delivery of projects for your clients.
- You will be key point of contact for any urgent issues
Requirements:
- At least 12 - 15 years of proven leadership experience in management consulting or in-house strategy delivery roles within financial services industry
- Expertise in one or more areas: growth strategy, transformation, M&A/post-deal integration.
- Candidates from MBB (McKinsey, Bain or BCG) management consulting experience highly desirable
- Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in cross-functional teams and managing complex engagements.
- Functional specialists (e.g., Actuarial, Finance, Pricing, Digital) with a track record of solution design and implementation
- Cantonese and / or Mandarin language skills are a plus
Less experienced candidates will be considered for Director or Senior Manager positions depending on relevant skills.
