UX/UI Designer (Renewable contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• User Research: Conduct user research to understand the needs, behaviours, and pain points of our customers. Use findings to inform design decisions.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
• UI Design: Design visually appealing and consistent user interfaces that align with our brand guidelines and enhance the user experience.
• Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with business goals.
• Design Systems: Develop and maintain a design system to ensure consistency across the application.
• Accessibility: Ensure designs are accessible and comply with standards to provide an inclusive experience for all users.
• Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in UX/UI design and the insurance industry.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in design or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in UX/UI design
• Hands-on experience in creating web application designs for employees (non-public facing)
• Preference will be given to those who has worked in the insurance industry, especially life insurance
• Should have great communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
• Hands-on experience in Figma in the last 5 years is mandatory, with the ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
• Should be an individual contributor, with effective time management skills
