Vice President (High Touch Trading) - Equity Sales and Trading

Job Description

The role involves servicing institutional investors by providing equity trade execution advice, market insights, and forming trading opinions, while ensuring compliance and building strong client relationships to maximize revenue

Responsibilities

  • Servicing institutional investors in equities, including traders in long-only funds, hedge funds, insurance managers, sovereign funds, etc.
  • Provide timely equity trade execution advice and market insight in executing clients’ equity orders
  • Utilize company research, market news, and global news to form trading opinions
  • Liaise with sales team and build strong client relationship in maximizing client revenue
  • Ensure all trading transactions are comply with both internal and external regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above with minimum 6 years’ relevant experience in high touch desk, possess strong institutional clients base preferred
  • Able to cultivate strong relationship with different stakeholders
  • Good ability to resist pressure and work independently
  • Honesty, integrity and sense of responsibility
  • Fluent English is mandatory and the ability to read/speak Chinese is preferred
