Product Manager (Financial Solutions for SMEs)

The Product Manager will work in tandem with the product management team to transform the overarching product vision into tangible features for both business and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Stakeholder Engagement:Work closely with senior leadership to identify market demands and ensure alignment with product strategy, business goals, and key requirements.
  • Product Design & Development:Craft high-quality product visions and directives, guiding them from initial concept to market launch. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, engineering, compliance, business lines, marketing, partners, sales, and operations.
  • Product Lifecycle Management:Oversee all stages of product development, transforming technical specifications into actionable product features. Define benefit hypotheses, outcome expectations, and acceptance criteria.
  • Launch Coordination:Strategically plan and execute product launches and major feature rollouts, taking into account interdependencies. Prioritize the product backlog in line with business goals, facilitating grooming sessions, retrospectives, defect management, and release planning.
  • Partner Communication:Liaise with partners and service providers regarding product integrations, including commercial terms, service scope, support models, and contract renewals. Ensure ongoing communication with internal teams and external partners to achieve product development objectives.
  • Performance Review & Planning:Assist in product planning and performance analysis for both local and global management. Conduct ad-hoc reviews as needed.
  • Documentation & Training:Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation and training materials for new features. Conduct training sessions to ensure internal stakeholders are well-informed about product offerings.

Qualifications:

• • Bachelor’s degree holder
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Product Management or a comparable role
  • Strong background in SME, Loans, Financial Products development, with expertise in creating, implementing, and managing software or SaaS platforms
  • Knowledge of micro-services and API-based products, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven capability to provide strategic insights on business cases, architectural alignment, and delivery approaches that shape the product roadmap
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Cantonese and English, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to diverse audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively across all organizational levels and with international teams
  • Successful track record in collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders to drive consensus and deliver effective customer solutions
