Job Description Summary
TLB is actively expanding its High-Net-Worth (HNW) life insurance product offerings to help achieve aggressive business growth targets.
The role will work closely with Head of Pricing and Product Development to formulate plans and implement product solutions across global markets, including but not limited to Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Middle East.
The successful applicant for this role will possess the ability to lead discussions with various functions within company to propose, agree and execute product solutions that fit the company's strategy. He / She has to the opportunity to be involved in the end-to-end product development cycle, including idea generation, feasibility testing, specifications, implementation and ongoing product management/enhancement. The role will have the help of Project Manager and other team members, where necessary, in achieving the above.

Responsibilities
- Manage new product ideas and develop business cases. Work in concert with Sales, Market & Customer Insights, Actuarial, Risk, etc. Coordinate feasibility analysis and concept refinement, working in collaboration with technical functions, as well as Sales and Marketing. Prioritize with evidence-based business cases for approval by Product Steering Committee (PSC) and management team.
- Translate agreed product ideas into optimal product solutions. Drive optimal solutions and create business/technical specifications by collaborating closely with Underwriting, Actuarial, Risk, IT, Ops etc.
- Oversee product implementation leveraging the support of the Project Manager and the product working group.
- Execute "Take to Market" plans. Discuss, agree and implement successful launches of new products, enhancements and campaigns, coordinating with Sales, Marketing and external agencies where appropriate. Develop appropriate sales and marketing tools during the process.
- Manage product lifecycle. Innovate, enhance and revamp to ensure competitiveness over time, by leveraging in-house data and studying market trends.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related area
- At least 8 years of experience in insurance industry, in which at least 3 - 5 years are related to life insurance product development.
- Candidates with experience in the HNW life insurance space will have an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of life insurance products; experience with Universal Life and Term Life is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (writing and speaking).
- Experienced in end-to-end product development cycle, particular with product designs and pricing.
- Ability to crystalise business ideas and transform them in optimal product designs/solutions/specifications for execution.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve desired business outcome.
- Ability to draft and/or review product related materials in English and Chinese.
- Customer centricity with attention to details.
- Advanced knowledge of HNW market and broker distribution model.
- Project planning and management skills.
- Familiarity to actuarial or financial modelling concepts to better assess product feasibility and profitability.
- Ability to think out of the box for creative solutions.
