Product Management
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for due diligence on distributed products (mutual fund, private fund, structured notes) such as structure, investment terms, transaction information and conduct risk assessment to satisfy SFC suitability requirements;
• In accordance with the company and sales department's needs to research suitable investment products and investment manager or issuer, negotiate business terms of contract;
• Cooperate with company sales department to make marketing material and disclosure to fulfil SFC requirements;
• Have direct exposure to different OTC products and manage lifecycle such as marginal call and valuation, to report to HKTR;
• Work with department head and cooperate with global market and retail business department.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) with Finance background;
• The candidate shall have experience in dynamic product management role and overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle and understand how to convert previous experiences into new application scenarios;
• Previous experience/background in client management preferred;
• Sensible and good at calculational works;
• Ability to work independently on project and management reports (especially Simplified Chinese) is essential;
• Detail-oriented and well organized with ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, with both internal and external parties;
• 3-5 years of relevant experience is preferred;
• Fluent in English and Mandarin with fluent in Cantonese as a plus.
