Retail Distribution

Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers. With around 260 branches and automated banking centres, including around 50 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Cross Boundary Banking as Business Development Executive.

Principal responsibilities

• Acquire, maintain, and develop sustainable relationships with Intermediaries/Channels through onsite visit
• Achieve the assigned Goals
• Develop an expert knowledge of Intermediaries/Channels Onboarding Due Diligence and ongoing management for the support of strategic direction
• Serve as a contact point for channels, addressing inquiries and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
• Be connected to build positive and lasting relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and colleagues
• Ensure that all control measures relevant to the job responsibilities are undertaken to minimize the risk exposure of the Bank

Requirements

• University degree in related disciplines

• Proven experience in direct sales experience in banking industry, preferably channel sales experience

• Good understanding of branch services and operations

• Strong language skills and service mindset

• High proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese are a MUST. Good command of English is an advantage

• Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
