Building on our proven success in previous PE funds in healthcare, pharmaceutical and smart manufacturing, we are about to launch our carefully curated OFC funds with expanded mandate in special situations, high-yield and multi-strategy funds. As part of this growth, we are able to open a couple of new positions for suitable candidates including a Responsible Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the senior management team with matters related to fund product establishment, filing, and assist in compliance and risk management tasks.
- Manage end-to-end operational processes, collaborated with counterparties such as legal, administrators, prime brokers, custodians, audit teams to ensure compliance.
- Handle fund reporting, reconciliation, and regulatory filing in accordance to regulatory requirements.
- Handle account opening and permission activation for fund products with securities firms and other trading partners, including preparing required material such as onboarding files and KYC/AL checks
- Maintain product documentation, contract files, and other archival management.
- Participate in operational matters related to the Hong Kong company.
- Complete other tasks assigned by senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, with 2 years or more experience in fund/family office operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
- Familiarity with the full operational workflow is preferred. Knowledge and experience in valuations, trade settlements, reconciliations would be viewed as preferable.
- Knowledge in compliance is desirable.
- Depending on experience, candidate will be hired as fund operation associate or manager.
- One day work from home per week can be arranged for experienced candidate, subject to senior manager approval.
