Our client is an NGO, looking for a Finance Manager in Hong Kong office who effectively assumes overall responsibilities including coordination of head quarter financial reporting and accounting, budgeting and forecasting, governance and compliance activities to ensure transparency, compliance and strategic management.

Job Responsibilities:

Operations & Reporting

• Oversee AP/AR, cash flow, asset management, and treasury
• Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and public disclosures
• Manage financial risks including FX and investments
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance
• Lead annual audits and maintain internal controls
• Report financial risks and mitigation strategies

Financial Strategy

• Advise management with financial insights and reports
• Implement financial policies and strategic projects
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and develop the finance team
• Collaborate with internal departments and external parties (auditors, bankers, vendors)
• Support hiring and foster a culture of accountability and feedback
• Liaise with International Office Finance for global consolidation
• Support local operations and projects as needed

Job Requirements:

• Candidate with CPA with a university degree in Finance/Accounting
• Fluent in Cantonese and English
• 10+ years of progressive experience, ideally in multinational companies / NGO settings
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong’s financial regulations and practices
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with diligence
• Knowledge in Oracle is a plus
