Our client :

Our client is a renowned and publicly listed Chinese tea beverage enterprise, their beverages are a household name, enjoyed by millions and featured extensively in supermarkets, restaurants, and convenience stores throughout Hong Kong. As they continue to strengthen the footprint, they are seeking an experienced and analytical Finance Manager to oversee their financial operations in Hong Kong. This role is to ensure the operational efficiency of their sales center. You will be the key financial business partner to the management team, providing critical insights to drive sales performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in full compliance with HKFRS/IFRS and the reporting requirements of a listed company. Deliver regular financial reports to the China Headquarters.
2. Analyze daily sales data, track KPIs, and identify trends to provide actionable recommendations to management for enhancing sales effectiveness and optimizing revenue in the Hong Kong market.
3. Lead cost control initiatives in Hong Kong, meticulously monitoring expenditures and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements without compromising quality.
4. Actively participate in the company's quarterly internal audit processes, ensuring robust internal controls and adherence to corporate governance standards.
5. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of two accounting clerks, ensuring their productivity and professional development.
6. Provide strategic financial input and support for business decisions, budgeting, and forecasting.

Requirements :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA or equivalent qualification is highly preferred.
2. Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
3. Candidates with prior experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B), Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or retail industry are highly preferred.
4. Mandatory hands-on experience in preparing full sets of financial statements for a listed company.
5. Solid knowledge of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) / International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex sales data and translate it into business insights.
7. Proven experience in cost control, internal audits, and team management.
8. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
9. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
10. A self-motivated, responsible, and detail-oriented team player with strong communication skills.
