Assistant Manager / Manager, Treasury & Payment Operations

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end settlement of treasury operations, ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate settlement of all trades across bonds, REPO, FX, money market products etc.
  • Manage daily interbank settlement, trade booking and associated support functions
  • Prepare transaction reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of processing financial transactions, clearing & settlement reconciliation
  • Support new Treasury initiatives and participate in system development and UAT.
  • Assist the team head in managing daily operations in alignment with the Bank’s standards & SLA
  • Assist to establish and maintain procedure manual

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury products, including fixed income, bonds, REPO, FX, money market products etc.
  • Sounds knowledge in eMBT/eCMT/SWIFT/RTGS
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is a plus.
  • Sound knowledge in computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel, and Chinese word processing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
