Role Summary

• The Fashion Design & Product Development Manager will play a dual role in creative design leadership and technical product development management for sweaters.
• Working closely with the Head of Product Development, you will oversee seasonal collections, ensuring designs are trend‑forward, commercially viable, and executed to the highest quality standards.
• You will also coordinate with merchandising, factories, suppliers, and marketing teams to deliver innovative, high‑quality products on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of seasonal sweater collections for international clients.
• Translate market trends, yarn innovations, and color directions into commercially successful designs.
• Create high‑quality sketches, CADs, and visual presentations to communicate design concepts.
• Partner with merchandising, factories, suppliers, and marketing teams to ensure smooth product development and execution.
• Oversee fit approvals, sample reviews, and quality standards throughout the development cycle.
• Optimize team resources to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.
• Support global offices in enhancing business through design innovation and product excellence.

Ideal Candidates

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Knitwear, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a supervisory sweater design role.
• Expert knowledge of sweater construction, yarns, knitting techniques, and end‑to‑end product development.
• Strong skills in trend analysis, color interpretation, and design presentation.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and AI design tools.
• Fluent in English is a must
• Mandarin/Cantonese is an advantage.
• Creative, detail‑oriented, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
