Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Officer/ Officer – Human Resources & Administration will support the delivery of human resources and administrative functions for Runway 1331. This role involves assisting in the implementation of HR policies, managing daily administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of HR and office management activities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the organization’s objectives through efficient HR practices and administrative support.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Human Resources Support:

  • Assist in recruitment processes, including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews and participation in in-house job fairs.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems regularly.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Support the implementation of employee engagement and performance management initiatives.
  • Handle work injury and labour cases in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Administer attendance checking and MPF contributions.
  • Assist in compensation and benefits administration.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.
  • Maintain and update the Employee Handbook.
  • Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the manager.

2. Administrative Operations:

  • Manage day-to-day office administration, including procurement of office supplies and equipment.
  • Oversee general office maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Provide support in organizing meetings, events, and training sessions.
  • Handle correspondence and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

3. Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure HR and administrative practices comply with local labor laws and organizational policies.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to HR activities, such as employee attendance, leave records, and payroll support.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

4. Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the HR and Administration team to align on organizational priorities.
  • Provide support to staff and leadership on HR and office management-related inquiries.

PERSON REQUIREMENT

Education Level:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Field of Study:

  • Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Years of Experience:

  • A minimum of 2–4 years of experience

Area of Experience:

  • Human resources and/or office administration.

Other Professional Qualifications / Technical Skills / Knowledge required:

  • Basic knowledge of HR practices and labour laws.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving capabilities.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in English, Cantonese or Mandarin
