AVP/ Manager, Securities & Futures (Business Governance & Support)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support the daily operations of securities and futures services, including business governance, compliance, and controls
• Prepare FRR returns and compliance-related reports in accordance with regulatory requirements for the Bank and its subsidiaries
• Assist management in designing and reviewing operational workflows and procedures for existing and new products
• Support the development and maintenance of Securities & Futures related systems
• Provide trading support to frontline staff
• Handle projects and/or ad hoc tasks assigned by management

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
• Holder of ACCA, CPA, ECF-GSF qualification; passing HKSI Papers 1,7,8 & 9 is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with familiarity in regulatory requirements (e.g. SFC Financial Resources Rule) and FRR reporting/management experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and securities-and-futures-related clearing/ settlement operations
• Organized, self-motivated, with strong risk control awareness and communication skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• Proficient in MS Office applications
