(Senior) Manager, Finance and Accounting

Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee the financial accounting process and ensure it is accurate and completed in a timely manner
  • Ensure effective controls exists in the payment process, actively involve in accrual process and month end close process to ensure compliance with HK accounting standards and follow Group requirements
  • Keep informed of financial accounting standards, assist the team head assesses the potential financial impacts to the Bank
  • Safeguard assets of the Bank by establishing relevant financial control policies and processes
  • Determine accounting booking of new products & services and ensure it is align with HK accounting standards
  • Maintain good relationships with internal stakeholders, Group companies stakeholder, external auditors and regulators

Experience and Education

  • University degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • CPA along with a relevant degree preferred
  • Ability to lead and drive initiatives with a structured and focused approach
  • Decision maker, problem solver, good analytical and numeric skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including facilitation skills
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
