What you'll do:

  • Assist the Team Head in managing the government funding programme related to Chinese Medicine Development in Hong Kong.
  • Assist in the evaluation of government-funded programme applications and contribute to the preparation of detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Advisory Committee, including preparation of meeting agendas, documents, and minutes, etc.
  • Develop and implement promotion campaigns and outreach initiatives to enhance public awareness and stakeholder engagement with the funding scheme.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine, Communications, Journalism, Business Management, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge in Chinese Medicine GMP, Chinese Medicine registration, and the Chinese Medicine industry is preferred.
  • Experience in implementing government funding schemes and/or handling government-funded projects is an advantage.
  • Mature, self-motivated, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing.
  • Candidates who can demonstrateknowledge of AI, or experience andability to apply Generative AI tools intheir work, will be preferred.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong writing skilss in Chiense preferred.

2. This is a fixed-term contract position for a period of 24 months subject to renewal

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates. A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
