Position Summary

As Head of Group Wealth Platform, Hong Kong & Macau, you will lead OCBC’s digital wealth transformation on our mobile and internet banking platforms in Hong Kong & Macau — defining, delivering, and optimising the country roadmap for the Group Wealth Platform. This role brings together data‑driven insights, advanced technology, and trusted relationships to create scalable, resilient, and client‑centred wealth experiences that endure for now, and beyond. Partnering across Wealth Management, Global Markets, Bank of Singapore, Operations & Technology, and Group Data Office, you will ensure the platform delivers exceptional front‑office and client outcomes, strengthens OCBC’s market leadership, and supports sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and own the Hong Kong & Macau Group Wealth Platform strategy and roadmap, aligned to Group priorities and local market opportunities.
  • Champion AI‑powered innovation and digital advisory solutions to enhance client engagement and portfolio performance.
  • Anticipate industry, regulatory, and client trends to deliver future‑ready wealth solutions.

Execution & Delivery

  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of platform initiatives, from concept to launch, ensuring stability, scalability, and long‑term resilience.

  • Build capabilities across channels, products, and operations to deliver consistent, high‑quality customer experiences and user journeys on our mobile and internet banking platforms

  • Implement governance and KPIs to measure impact, adoption, and ROI.

  • Maximize limited resources to bring impactful outcomes – you’re a problem solver, loves collaboration and have an open-mindedness to discover opportunities

Architecture & Technology

  • Partner with Group Technology to shape the platform architecture vision, enabling integration across core banking, wealth, group wealth platform, and digital channels.

  • Ensure the platform’s interoperability, security, and performance — supporting open API frameworks, automation, and responsible AI adoption.

  • Promote engineering excellence and sustainable design principles.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Forge strong partnerships with leaders across In-country business stakeholders, Group Digital Business and Digital Transformation, Group Wealth Management, Branch Banking, Premier Banking, Consumer Lending, Group Data Office, and Group Operations & Technology.

  • Influence stakeholders on priorities, trade‑offs, and investment decisions to drive shared success.

  • Represent Hong Kong & Macau in Group Wealth Platform forums, ensuring local needs are understood and addressed.

Change Leadership & Operating Model

  • Develop and evolve the target operating model for the wealth platform in Hong Kong & Macau.

  • Lead change management across people, processes, and technology to drive adoption and productivity uplift.

  • Embed a culture of trust, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years in digital wealth management, private banking, or wealth fintech, with a proven track record in large‑scale platform transformation.

  • Experience leading high‑performing, cross‑functional teams across multiple markets.

  • Strong knowledge of wealth products, digital trends, and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong & Macau.

  • Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior executive level.

  • Expertise in leveraging data and AI for client value creation and operational excellence.

  • Technical fluency to oversee platform architecture, scalability, and integration.
