Product Manager (Secured Lending)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Product Manager – Secured Lending to lead the development, enhancement, and management of secured lending products, with a focus on premium financing, policy financing, and broader wealth-backed lending propositions. This role is critical in supporting our affluent and high-net-worth clients by delivering tailored financing solutions against high-value assets including insurance policies, deposits, and investment portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of secured lending products including premium financing, policy financing, investment-backed lending, and deposit-backed loans.
  • Develop and optimize lending propositions catering to affluent and high-net-worth clients, in alignment with client needs and market opportunities.
  • Design competitive product structures including credit terms, margining rules, repayment features, and collateral eligibility.
  • Champion automation, digital servicing, and process improvements to enhance customer experience.
  • Lead product roadmap, enhancements, and campaign planning to drive lending growth and wallet share.
  • Collaborate with credit risk, legal, and compliance teams to ensure sound credit policy, risk-adjusted returns, and full regulatory compliance (e.g. SFC, HKMA).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in banking, with specific exposure to premium financing, policy financing, or wealth lending
  • Strong understanding of life insurance financing structures, portfolio lending, and regulatory capital treatment
  • Familiar with HKMA/SFC guidelines related to margin lending and policy assignment
