Description

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee marine and terminal operations across the Asia-Pacific region. This role will drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and compliance while managing processes and leading regional teams. You will work closely with local agencies, terminal partners, and global headquarters to ensure smooth execution and continuous improvement.

  • Set Regional Strategy: Define and execute operational plans for vessels, ports, and terminals across APAC.
  • Optimize Performance: Ensure schedule reliability, cost efficiency, and adherence to global standards.
  • Resolve Complex Challenges: Act as the go-to expert for escalated operational issues and exceptions.
  • Drive Partnerships: Build strong relationships with terminal operators and service providers to secure competitive advantages.
  • Lead Analysis & Improvement: Monitor KPIs, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Champion Safety & Compliance: Oversee Dangerous Goods handling and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Develop Talent: Mentor and grow regional operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

Profile

  • 7+ years of experience in proven maritime leadership on container vessels.
  • 3-5 years in port operations or marine management within container shipping.
  • Strong decision-making and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in ENGLISH is a MUST
