Business Analyst

Founded in 1948, Chong Hing Bank is a well-established commercial bank in Hong Kong with a network of more than 40 branches and sub-branches. Responsibilities:

• To lead, supervise and design the overall end-to-end business work-flow and business functionalities of new, critical and large-scale projects.
• Assist Business Department to prepare and gather user requirements, perform analysis and feasibility study.
• Study user requirements, analyze the workflows of cross-departments and operational departments, optimize business and operational processes, provide suggestions and translate them into functional design for system implementation.
• Review functional requirement document to ensure the application design is aligned with requirements stated in user requirement document.
• Provide input to testing team on test plan and test case formation, ensure all required scope is being covered.
• Analyze the major issue found during project implementation, boost Business Departments or IT Development Departments to handle action items.
• Analyze issue raised during post implementation period before project closure.
• Assist team head to update and enrich project management, application development (SDLC) and related documents.
• Perform other adhoc projects or assignments.

Requirements:

• University graduate in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years’ BA/Business Product experience preferably in banking / financial sector
• Possess both business and managerial competencies to resolve day to day project issue
• Strong in problem-solving and communication skills
• Good team player with strong interpersonal skills and able to work with stakeholders at different levels
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Knowledges of the latest AI technologies and trends in the banking industry, with the ability to translate them into practical applications
