Job Description:

The IT Business and Technology Manager (ITPMO) assists in managing IT projects across the bank, monitors the progress of project implementation, follows up on post-project evaluations to maximizes the efficiency of the bank's resources. The right candidate also serves as a bridge between the head office and BOCHK IT department, assisting in coordinating IT-related teams to implement the head office's requirements and work tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implementing best practices of ITPMO framework to enhance the project management efficiency.
• Assisting in the management of IT projects across the bank, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved on time.
• Assisting in communication with IT department of Head Office and related units of BOCHK, to follow up the implementation of IT projects and requirements of the Head Office.
• Monitoring IT budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize delivery outcomes.
• Preparing and presenting IT project status reports to leadership teams.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• A minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years focused on project management. Candidates with experience of Chinese bank will be an advantage .
• Solid experience in project management, solution planning or delivery.
• Detail oriented with solid soft skills to balance technical and business requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
• Strong documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports and project deliverables.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
• Certification on Project Management will be an advantage.
