Responsibilities

  • Develop M&E both short-term and long-term strategies & policies in alignment with corporate business directives
  • Direct and control the resources availability in terms of the finance, manpower resources, equipment and facilities etc. to meet the company's objectives and regulation requirement
  • Monitor and control the maintenance plan and implementation of the fleet aircraft and contracted MRO to meet the standards required by the CAD, conditions and restrictions of AOC and HKA standards
  • Liaise with the highest level of stakeholders including manufacturers, contractors, legal organizations etc. and develop the business partnership to maximize efficiency, effectiveness and business income
  • Monitor the fleet maintenance planning performed by Maintenance Planning in accordance with the approved AMS and other Technical Manuals and to achieve maximum aircraft availability
  • Plan and direct the policies and operations of the HKA Technical Service in accordance with CAD and other regulatory authorities
  • Direct Maintenance Services such as Fleet Technical Management, SGHA per IATA Annexes, OEMs GTAs and Commercial Agreement undertaken in accordance with relevant regulatory authorities and HKA requirements
  • Forecast maintenance tasks requirements to prepare the departmental budget and monitor the cost drives of M&E activities
  • Perform other duties and projects assigned by senior management

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Avionics, Mechanical, Aeronautical or Electrical Engineering
  • At least 15 years’ aircraft maintenance/engineering experience and at least 5 years management experience in M&E area
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License holder
  • Strong leadership, people management and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of regulations and airlines operation
  • Strong in communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
