Our client is adding a new headcount, Area Manager APAC, to their global travel retail team that will be based in Hong Kong, managing Asia Pacific Region.

Our client is a global alcohol and spirits company that is expanding their growing global travel retail team. You will be based in Hong Kong, managing Asia Pacific Region and work with colleagues around the globe.

Description

As an Area Manager APAC, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the APAC region.
  • Managing and building strong relationships with key GTR operators and distributors.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and driving market expansion.
  • Manage promotional budgets and effectively allocate resources to maximize ROI and brand impact.
  • Monitoring market trends and conduct market research on competitive positioning and product development.
  • Preparing and presenting detailed reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Work closely with global colleagues, including marketing and brand teams.

Profile

A successful Area Manager APAC should have:

  • At least 7 years of experience in the travel retail sector and have good relationships with operators and distributors.
  • Candidates must have alcohol and spirits experience.
  • Proven ability to work individually, drive sales growth and achieve targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, high commercial sense and detail oriented.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
