Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage revenue management and distribution strategy of the property and manage day to day revenue operations to maximize overall property revenue.
  • Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting. Perform competitive benchmark studies and market insights.
  • Fully knowledgeable about all hospitality products, like guest rooms, rates and promotions, hotel facilities and programs. Assist on managing room inventory, rate or booking integration issues to maximize property’s occupancy and average daily rate.
  • Track and manage reservations across all channels, including hotel website, OTAs, GDS, third parties, etc., ensuring rate parity is maintained.
  • Monitor property performance, produce and communicate forecast and budget with key stakeholders.
  • Analyze overall monthly property performance incl. Rooms and other revenue sources. Provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies. Optimize revenue on direct and 3rd party channels. Develop and execute strategies to drive repeated business.
  • Liaise with system vendors and internal stakeholders for continuous system improvement. Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated and utilized to full capacity.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Director of Commercial Strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree of Hotel Management/Business/Marketing or related.
  • 4 years or above of experience in Revenue Management or equivalent preferred within the Luxury/Lifestyle hotel market.
  • Strong business acumen and passionate in hotel industry.
  • Customer-focused mentality with creative thinking for exceptional ideas. Attention to details with good analytical and numerical skills.
  • High level of motivation, determination and commitment to drive results.
  • Strong relationship management skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders. Good communication skills with both verbal and written English.
  • Knowledge of multiple reservation systems and applications like property management system, booking engine, OTA extranets, revenue management systems, etc. is a plus.
  • Highly computer literate with a high-level command of Microsoft Office.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Revenue Manager.
