AVP / VP - Legal - Chinese Securities Firm

Client Details

Our client is a leading Chinese securities firm with a strong presence in investment banking, asset management, and securities trading. The firm is committed to delivering innovative financial solutions and maintaining the highest standards of compliance and governance.

Description

  • Advise on PRC and Hong Kong securities regulations, SFC rules, and other applicable laws.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate documentation for capital markets transactions, structured finance, and M&A deals.
  • Provide legal guidance on overseas investments, joint ventures, and multi-jurisdictional transactions.
  • Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies to support business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with regulators, external counsel, and internal business teams to facilitate smooth execution of transactions

Profile

  • Qualified lawyer of HK, with 5+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in securities firms, investment banks, or top-tier law firms
  • Strong knowledge of securities laws, capital markets, and structured finance.
  • Experience in cross-border transactions and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills in both English and Chinese.
