Engineer - Data Centre & Network Implementation

Department: Data Centre & Network Implementation

In this position, you will:

• Oversee the end-to-end construction and management of the company’s Core Network, Transmission Network (equipment), and Service Network engineering throughout their lifecycle
• Manage the full lifecycle of projects within the relevant domain, including surveying, design, implementation, and project acceptance, while ensuring quality, schedule, cost, compliance, and safety standards are met
• Coordinate with partners, including survey and design units, construction contractors, equipment suppliers, and other third-party service providers, ensuring effective safety management and evaluation throughout the process
• Assist in researching advancements in new technologies
• Ensure compliance management within the team, promoting the establishment and implementation of relevant systems

To be successful in this position, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field

• Over 3 years of experience in Core Network /Transmission Network / Service Network, with relevant hands-on implementation experience

• Solid project experience and professional knowledge in at least one of the following areas:

• Core Network (including: circuit domain, packet domain, user data domain, prepaid systems, SMS, MMS, enterprise information services EMS, ringback tones, voice mail, WSM, OTA, eSIM, MBC, etc.)

• Transmission Network (including: OTN, IP RAN, data communication equipment, etc.)

• Service Network (including: cloud, computing power, etc.)

• Familiarity with the sizable firms’s construction management processes, material procurement processes, and capital expenditure/capitalization processes

• Familiarity with embedded risk management, corporate compliance management, final account settlement, and audit-related processes

• Solid experience in establishing and managing small to medium-sized construction teams

• Strong teamwork, communication skills

• Good command of English, Chinese and Putonghua
