IPT/MPLS VPN Product Manager, Network

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and iteration of network products such as IP Transit and MPLS VPN. Develop product roadmaps and monitor KPIs (e.g. network latency, packet loss rate, customer SLA compliance) to drive performance optimization and cost control
• Conduct in-depth analysis of global IP bandwidth market dynamics, including IPv4/IPv6 traffic growth and competitor pricing strategies. Identify growth opportunities and track impacts of alternative technologies like SD-WAN and SASE on the traditional MPLS market
• Collaborate with the network engineering team to design high-availability architectures (e.g., Anycast deployment, traffic engineering) ensuring products meet 99.9%+ availability standards. Lead the commercialization of key technology solutions such as BGP routing strategies, traffic scheduling, and DDoS protection
• Build flexible pricing models (e.g. 95th percentile billing, fixed bandwidth tiered pricing) to balance customer needs and profit margins. Provide technical support to the sales team, including customized SLA solutions and complex network consulting support
• Work with operations and maintenance teams to optimize backbone network costs through international transmission procurement and IXP interconnection strategies. Cooperate with legal departments to manage IP address resource compliance and audit risks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science / Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• CCIE/JNCIE/HCIE or similar certification is a MUST
• Minimum of 5 years managing carrier connectivity products as Product Manager or Solution Manage and 3 years in commercializing network products, including P&L management of IP Transit/MPLS VPN products
• Knowledge of Datacom & Optical related technology and products for MPLS VPN and Internet Backbone Network
• Detail-oriented and proactive, with strong project management capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in English and Chinese, with proficient Mandarin
