About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Officer to support the daily operations and key projects of the Hetao Institute of Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a dynamic academic environment. Applicants from both Mainland China and Hong Kong are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily administrative operations, including the planning and execution of key projects, organization of meetings and events, coordination of external exchanges, and other general administrative tasks.
Prepare, file, and maintain documents, and official correspondence to ensure accurate record keeping.
Facilitate efficient teamwork across departments.
Perform other duties and assignments as required by supervisors.
The appointees are working mostly in Shen Zhen, but may need to work partially in Hong Kong when needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in English, Management, Education, or other related disciplines.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in administration or project management; experience in higher education or research institutions is an advantage.
Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to use English as a working language for communication and documentation (this is a mandatory requirement).
Strong project coordination, problem-solving, and cross-cultural communication skills.
Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
