The Opportunity : Technical Manager- Location: Hong Kong (with overseas travel and short- and medium-term on-site work)

About the Company- We are a China state-owned enterprise specializing in strategic mining investments and operations.

- Focused on securing upstream resources and expanding global supply chains.
- Engaged in both investment and direct operation of overseas mines, covering exploration, production, and development of metallic minerals such as copper, zinc, gold, nickel, and more.
Responsibilities- Undertake research and analysis on the global mining industry, with a strong focus on technical processes, operational practices, and site performance.
- Organize and participate in the technical analysis and feasibility demonstration of investment projects, including detailed technical reviews at overseas mine sites.
- Provide technical leadership in the implementation and promotion of approved investment projects.
- Post-acquisition: actively manage and oversee the technical aspects of daily mine operations, ensuring production efficiency, safety, and compliance with international standards.
- Supervise and optimize technical processes in mining, mineral processing, metallurgy, and geology.
- Contribute to post-investment project management, focusing on technical performance tracking, operational improvements, and problem-solving.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure technical standards align with company strategy.
- Prepare technical reports, analytical documentation, and formal submissions for senior leadership.
- Travel is required.
Ideal Candidates - Master’s degree in geology, mining engineering, mineral processing, metallurgy, or other related mining disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of professional, hands-on technical experience in overseas mining operations or at overseas mines (Canada, Indonesia, Africa, Australia, or other overseas regions).
- Proven technical expertise in mining operations, mineral processing, metallurgy, and geology.
- Experience in mine development, construction, and operational processes, with ability to troubleshoot and optimize technical systems.
- Working knowledge of finance, accounting, and investment principles is a plus.
- Direct involvement in successful overseas mining investment projects, or deep participation in the full cycle of overseas mining project investment, is an advantage.
- Excellent command of English and Mandarin in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Strong technical writing and reporting skills, with experience drafting analytical reports and technical documentation.
- Understanding of modern enterprise management practices and legal compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in office software and technical reporting tools.
- Clear logical thinking, strong communication skills, and effective teamwork.
