Responsibilities:
- Oversee the whole production processes and activities, including concrete mixing plant, concrete block machine, packaging system, PLC system, construction waste crushing system and glass waste crushing system etc.
- Responsible for the production operations including planning, production, maintenance, troubleshooting, product development and design
- Identify potential problems and provide suitable solutions in a timely manner
- Review the production processes, workforce and methods to maximize the production efficiency
- Analyze existing operations and develop preventive maintenance strategies
- Plan and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive performance in equipment efficiency, materials supply, product quality, production and maintenance schedules and staffing requirements for better cost control
- Provide technical training to production team to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of plant equipments
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure production on schedule
- Develop new products to diversify existing product mix
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required to support operational objectives.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering with good knowledge of PLC programming and electrical and system control
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in running a brick and paver plant, of which 5 years in management level
- Experienced on operating brick and paver machines (Techmatik SHP500 C PRO is preferred)
- Excellent abilities in planning and organizing, numerical analyzing, problem-solving and decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead projects and foster collaboration across departments
- Possess good knowledge and experience in production processes, safety & quality control and regulatory requirements
- Holder of driving license is preferred
