Duties & Responsibilities:
We are now seeking candidates for the Manager position in the Intermediary Misconduct Team (Investigation) of the Enforcement Division. The Enforcement Division investigates and combats market and listed company crimes, and intermediary misconduct. These investigations are intellectually challenging and crucial to Hong Kong’s status as an international financial centre.
You will be part of the Intermediary Misconduct Team responsible for investigating misconduct committed by persons regulated by the SFC, unlicensed activities, contraventions relating to virtual assets (VA) and offers of investments. You will also prepare cases for criminal, civil or disciplinary proceedings resulting from these investigations.
Requirements:
To be successful in this post, you should possess a university degree with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience, including experience in investigation or law enforcement. You should be a team player and good communicator with excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Knowledge of Mandarin will be a plus. Familiarity with the securities and futures markets, financial services industry and VA-related activities is a strong advantage. Less experience will be considered as an Assistant Manager.
