Engineering Controller (Electronics and Computer)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Chief Engineering Controller (CEC) and implement instructions; assist superiors in administrative duties, staff training, and discipline management for tunnel engineering teams.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, procedures, and industry standards; manage inventory of spare parts and materials.
  • Provide expert engineering advice and support to team members; assist with staff performance and disciplinary actions as required.
  • Maintain and regularly update all test and maintenance records, maintenance schedules, technical documentation, and related materials to optimize equipment and vehicle performance within the tunnel.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and uphold health and safety standards for all tunnel staff, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Research, recommend, and support the implementation of major equipment replacements and modification programs to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Assist in monitoring, reviewing, and enhancing the reliability, safety, quality, and efficiency of E&M systems, plants, and equipment.
  • Facilitate effective inter-departmental coordination to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe tunnel operations.

Qualifications:

  • Holder of a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science from a recognized Hong Kong university/polytechnic, or from the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, technical institute, technical college, or an equivalent qualification.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years post-qualification, full-time experience in the design, maintenance, or real-time computer systems for process control.

Work Location:
Kai Tak Tunnel (Near Kowloon City)

Work Hours:
Monday to Friday; 8:00a.m.–5:00p.m.
