Duties & Responsibilities:

This position will offer you the opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals responsible for regulating the public offers of unlisted structured products and other investment products to retail investors in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Senior Managers of the Investment Products Division, you will be responsible for reviewing applications for authorization of publicly offered unlisted structured products and their offering documents and marketing materials. You should be able to understand the structure of these products and be able to identify as well as analyze the risks and rewards pertaining to such products. You should also be familiar with the regulatory requirements in respect of the above products and be able to identify the relevant regulatory issues relating to the applications. You will also interact with market professionals and other stakeholders in the market in collecting relevant market information and data and perform analyses on market trends that may affect the development of such investment products.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you should have a university degree and/or professional qualification in Law or Finance, with a minimum of five years of solid and relevant work experience in the financial services sector, particularly in structured products. Exposure in international investment banks or law firms is preferable.

You should have sound knowledge of structured products and market practices. You must be an active team player with strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. You should be able to work independently and be able to cope with pressure in a multi-stakeholder environment. An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese is required, with proficiency in Putonghua a plus.
