About the Role

We are a leading brokerage firm in the financial services industry, seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Project Officer / Business Analyst to join our team.
In this role, you will support the successful delivery of technology projects across trading platforms, market connectivity, risk management systems, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines IT project management skills with financial industry knowledge, able to work effectively with traders, operations, compliance teams, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in planning and coordinating IT projects for trading, settlement, risk, and compliance systems

  • Gather and document high-level business requirements from internal users (front office, middle office, back office, compliance)

  • Liaise between IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals

  • Track project progress, risks, and issues; prepare governance reports, dashboards, and presentations for management

  • Support system testing (UAT), issue resolution, and change management activities

  • Ensure projects comply with internal governance standards and industry regulations

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes and methodologies

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related discipline

  • 3–6 years of experience in IT project coordination, PMO support, or business analysis, preferably within financial services / brokerage / banking

  • Good understanding of trading platforms, market connectivity, order management systems (OMS), clearing & settlement, or regulatory reporting

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with front-office and IT stakeholders

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) and tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence)

  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial industry is an advantage

  • Project management or business analysis certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, CBAP) are a plus
