In January 2022, China Resources Longdation Company Limited of China Resources Group acquired Synergis property and facility management services business. The acquisition enhanced Synergis’ overall business strength and long-term development capabilities in Hong Kong and Mainland China, which will ultimately benefit the Company and our customers.

We are looking for an energetic professional with firm commitment to excellence to fill the post of Risk & Compliance Officer.

Are you a meticulous and proactive risk and compliance professional looking to make a significant impact within a leading organization? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Risk and Compliance Department. This role is pivotal in strengthening our internal controls, audit functions, and overall risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be entrusted with a diverse and challenging portfolio:

  • Audit & Assurance: Support the audit management lifecycle by participating in group-led audit projects, tracking remediation actions, applying audit findings, and contributing to policy development. You will leverage your insights to recommend enhancements to existing processes and systems.
  • Internal Control Framework: Assist in the execution of our annual internal control review program. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to conduct checks, draft comprehensive reports, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify the company's key operational risks. You will be responsible for developing and monitoring key risk indicators to safeguard our operations.
  • Contract & Legal Affairs: Manage the contract review and approval process. In collaboration with external counsel, you will organize and oversee the handling of litigation and non-litigation matters for the company and its managed projects.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a dynamic professional who possesses:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Auditing, Management, or a related discipline.
  • A professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CIA, etc.) or intermediate-level technical title is highly advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in internal/external audit, accounting, internal controls, compliance, or legal management.
  • Solid experience in internal auditing or supervisory inspection, coupled with exceptional report writing skills in Chinese.
  • Strong analytical, research, and logical reasoning abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated management potential is a plus.
  • Full professional proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English (both written and spoken).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Candidates with more experience may be considered for a senior position.
