Engineer II (Distribution Planning) (Ref: TND-DP-EII-CP)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Distribution Planning Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following duties:

  • To plan for provision of electricity supply to new and existing customers, network reinforcement, plant diversion and decommissioning and supply re-provision works
  • To provide support on matters related to drafting and logistical supports, engineering co-ordination, development and up-keeping of various distribution planning systems
  • To assist in procurement of major distribution equipment including pre-tender qualifications, preparation of equipment specification, tender evaluation, and stock monitoring

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • A minimum of 4 years’ relevant work experience in Electrical Engineering
  • Completed a recognized Scheme 'A' training or has equivalent working experience in lieu of training
  • General knowledge in quality, environment and safety management standards / practices
  • Holder of a valid class 1 & 2 driving license an advantage
