Role Summary- You will independently manage international trading activities across a wide range of food commodities, with a primary focus on driving sales growth and expanding customer relationships.

  • The role also covers supplier development to secure competitive sourcing and ensure reliable supply.
  • Reporting directly to senior management, this position offers significant autonomy and scope to contribute, with full accountability for trading operations and the potential to evolve into leading a small team in the future.

Key Responsibilities- Drive sales growth by building and enhancing relationships with existing and potential customers worldwide.

  • Develop and maintain a strong supplier network to ensure competitive sourcing and reliable supply.
  • Coordinate quoting activities, ensuring timely and accurate submission of quotations to customers.
  • Review and oversee new business contracts, ensuring compliance with company procedures and smooth order processing.
  • Source and coordinate with suppliers and customers to support trading operations.
  • Collect and analyze market intelligence for management review and strategic planning.

Ideal Candidates - University graduate with solid experience in international trading of food commodities.

  • Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
  • Strong knowledge of international trading contracts; familiarity with trade finance is a plus.
  • Possess an established client base in the food commodities sector is highly advantageous.
  • Experience working with China-based companies is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and capable of managing both sales pipelines and supplier relationships.
