Job Responbilities

• Data and Access Management: Oversee data backup procedures, user access controls, and pre-trade risk management efforts. Develop and implement a robust Business Continuity Planning/Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) strategy, including regular drills to test system resiliency.
• Audit Coordination: Facilitate internal and external audits along with regulatory examinations. Monitor and track progress on remediation efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Emergency Preparedness: Formulate, maintain, and periodically test IT emergency response plans and procedures. Regularly review departmental policies and monitor their compliance status.
• Risk Identification: Identify current and potential IT operational risks, communicate findings to supervisors and stakeholders, and develop actionable plans to mitigate these risks effectively.
• Control Measures Implementation: Establish and enforce effective risk detection and control measures. Lead investigations into production incidents, assist in root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues related to information security, system audits, and the overall safety of production environments.
• Project Leadership: Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, security patching, and platform deployments. Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and oversee IT procurement processes.
• Infrastructure Support: Provide comprehensive support for IT infrastructure, including PCs/devices, servers, networks, Microsoft 365 administration, VPN configurations, and troubleshooting of software/hardware issues.

Job Requirement

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of IT operations experience within the financial technology sector, with a preference for experience in brokerage or banking environments.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in low-latency trading systems, Windows and Linux server management, and Cisco networking (TCP/IP). Strong experience with SQL Server and MySQL database administration.
• Cybersecurity Skills: Demonstrated ability in designing cybersecurity frameworks, implementing control measures, and managing BCP/DR initiatives.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial regulatory standards and strong skills in risk identification, troubleshooting, and crisis management.
• Programming Skills: Experience in programming/scripting languages, such as Python or Java; familiarity with cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies is a plus.
• Certifications: Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, and ITIL are highly desirable.
