Major Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points;
- Implement network access controls and security measures to protect company data and systems;
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network operation;
- Conduct regular network assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements;
- Manage network capacity planning and upgrade projects to support the organization's growth and evolving technology needs;
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes for reference and training purposes;
- Support and manage enterprise backup to maintain application data integrity and consistency;
- Monitor and assess system abnormality and troubleshoot in a timely manner;
- Coordinate with users and vendors for project implementation and arrange training for users; and
- Provide end-user support, and handle service requests related to network infrastructure support and maintenance.
Qualifications/Requirements
- University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance;
- Proficiency in network protocols, technologies, and best practices, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs;
- Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, such as H3C routers, switches, Wi-Fi controllers, and FortiGate firewalls;
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools, such as H3C iMC, is preferred;
- Sound knowledge in best practices of project management and IT governance;
- Able to work independently and under pressure;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with all levels of the organization;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Willing to learn and adopt emerging technologies like AIOps;
- Experience in open-source technologies like docker, K8s, Grafana is a plus;
- Experience in implementing network access control (NAC) project like Aruba Clearpass, Cisco ISE is a plus;
- Experience with cloud networking technologies, such as Azure, is a plus;
- Experience in virtual platforms, such as HCI and VMware, is a plus; and
- Industry certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, are preferred.
