Retail Banking and Wealth (RBW) Credit and Financial Crime Risk Control - Credit Control Services

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Credit Control Services.

Principal responsibilities

  • Devise and implement effective collection tactics and strategies to contain delinquencies and losses
  • Manage and establish service standard for external agencies/legal firms to improve recovery performance
  • Review credit policies/processes developed by Retail Credit Risk and provide guidance on risk management related matters
  • Plan and co-ordinate a wide range of projects, operation, system and manpower related issues to ensure smooth delivery of credit collection services
  • Motivate team members by providing adequate training/ job rotations and identifying potential talents for succession planning

Requirements

  • University degree in Statistics, Risk Management, Economics, Business OR other relevant qualifications/experience
  • Minimum 10 years' managerial experience in credit risk, in relation to retail banking products
  • Strong supervisory skills to lead/manage a team to deliver excellent results
  • Good understanding of overall business dynamics, particularly with Retail Banking and project management
  • Good understanding of portfolio management technique including analytics
  • Creative thinking and business acumen
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
