Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of key lens categories (e.g., Single Vision, Presbyopia) and build insights across the entire value chain-from consumers to optical stores, hospitals, and manufacturers.
  • Monitor competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and medical research to identify new opportunities and solutions.
  • Design and implement strategic roadmaps for lens categories, ensuring the right product innovation, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive execution of category strategies, coordinating with global and local teams across R&D, marketing, medical affairs, sales, and operations.
  • Track business performance, analyze key metrics, and evaluate ROI for initiatives to optimize results.
  • Partner with retailers, hospitals and government bodies to raise awareness on vision care and capture new business opportunities.
  • Closing working with all related functions to make sure on-the-ground execution in line with strategic design, including but not limited to: global R&D, global and local medical affairs, marketing, customer training, sales team, finance and operation
  • Build insights across all parties along the value chain: end consumers, optical stores, optician, hospitals and lens manufacturers etc.
  • Keep track of competitive and regulatory / environment around key lens categories to identify opportunities

Profile

  • 8+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting, corporate strategy, or B2B2C sales & marketing within medical, optical, or health-related industries.
  • Proven success in building go-to-market plans for innovative products.
  • Strong experience in cross-functional project management and managing brand/product innovations.
  • Expertise in marketing mix (pricing, product, distribution, promotion) and consumer insights.
  • Passionate about vision care and ophthalmic technology.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills; fluent in English.
